Can someone explain to me why the Z61t has longer battery life than Z60t
isn't core duo like 35w vs pentium M at 25w, so how is it able to last longer

I think most of of the Core Duo's are 31w. I mange to get 3hrs on a 4 cell battery. (Z61t with 1.66 Core Duo). Im not sure how much a z60t got, but it must be 2-3 hrs.

Is that with wifi on and bluetooth off? What is the screen brightness? Will that figure be lower with a 2 ghz Duo Core processor?

I wanted the 7 cell battery but not so sure I want something sticking out the back. Might be harder to find a sleeve for the laptop. I will just go for the Ultrabay optical drive battery to add some more life.

Yeah that is with WIFI on and im surfing the internet. The laptop does not have bluetooth. The screen is on level 4 out of 7 brightness. The 2ghz Core Duo is also 31w...so it shouldn't be that much different then mine.
