I've pretty much decided upon purchasing a z61m, however, I'm a bit confused as I would prefer to get the stylish titanium cover-- as featured in the review on this site-- but according to Lenovo, you can only get the 15.4" WSXGA+ model with the black cover; do they just not make them w/ titanium anymore?

you can buy titanium covered Z61m's in other stores such as euclidcomputers ... i got mine there. be wary that those machines were pre-configured.

you can get cheaper cost in lenovo's site but in the expense of longer shipping times. other stores offer next day delivery

thanks for the response; I'll check out that site; hey, considering that you appear to own one of these machines, how would you rate your satisfaction with it? specifically, what do you think of the display quality?

i find matte screens very much appealing to me. in my opinion, this one's good to the eyes. i hate glare and reflection from other notebooks (like toshiba, almost like a mirror) that's why i went for a thinkpad.

i am very much enjoying this baby right here... i am practicing using this little eraser head :)

gonna right a review sometime now. i'll just finish my studies first and reserve some time wirting one.
