does anyone know if/when they will offer a Z61t with the traditional black case rather than titanium? I'm a long time thinkpad user, and would prefer the "classic" look

I'd be very doubtful that they'll ever do it. Might be time to upgrade your image ;)

hold on a bit for a widescreen T in classic black.
the titanium doesn't wear as well as black, reportedly.

    I second this question...

btw, there are a few "classic black" z61t's if you order them preconfigured, if anyone cares
