    Hi all!
I've been lurking around the these forums for a while now, since I'm planning on buying a new laptop in December or maybe January. I'm looking for a solid 15.4" laptop on wich I could do some gaming, and is also with good quality. So it would last me about 2-4 years. I've looked at the S510 and it looks nice, also I found a very nice configuration with a Blu-Ray drive and a killer price :)
    Anyway.
It would be very helpful if you guys could leave some comments and thoughts about LG notebooks. I couldn't find much info on them. So any thoughts on build quality, performace etc.
Oh and also does LG have international warranty service?

    Thanks to all, in advance!

Found some info for you doing a quick search, and there are more.
IMHO LG doesn't have a history of making laptops. Maybe more reserach and go try one. ;) Best of luck.

    Well I'm on a LW20 Express, I think it's 2-3 years old, with a 1.8Ghz Celeron M or something.
Build quality even on this thing is amazing, especially since this was a floor model and is still alive and fully functioning 3 years later hah....

But I bought this laptop in China, AFAIK LG didn't ship to the US for a long time, and I dunno if they even do now.

I have had a Dell laptop for 3 years and it is still going strong. I just watched this video review for the Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop on ExpoTV. I think it may be what you are looking for. You can watch it at : youcastcorp . com/rd/rd.php?u=http://expotv . com/Dell-Inspiron-1525-Laptop/1b-1egP The marketing company I work for is actually doing a campaign for ExpoTV. It's a cool site where you can make extra money for posting video reviews. It's a great way to get honest feedback and make some cash in the process.

    Thanks.
But I'm def. not looking for an Inspiron, I'm waiting for the new XPS's or buy a business grade notebook with a decent GPU. And since the LG p310 and S510 are said to be business notebooks, by LG themselves, then I just wanted to ask people who had the experience with LG's, if their quality is on par with say Dell's Latitude's...
