I was searching for a good laptop, something different from the usual gray brick, then i saw the LG's S1 (or the P1).
Am I dreaming?![]()
I have never seen such a beautiful notebook!
So I searched on LG's site for local reseller, but I discovered that in italy LG don't sell the S1!![]()
Someone can help me?
Or, alternatively, is there a similar notebook (with an excellent design) that I could buy in italy?
thaks a lot!

I believe there are some resellers that will ship internationally. One that comes to mind is portableone. I would check that out before anything just to make sure they do.

Im from Denmark and I bought my LG S1 from Germany, more specifically notebookshop.de. It is most recommendable, and I experienced no problems.

I bought mine from milestonepc.com, i know they ship internationally.

Thanks to everyone for the speed.
I will accurately check these sites later, but now I discovered a new problem: if I buy a notebook in another country, it will have a non-italian keyboard!
Most european keyboard has the same keys than italian, but with different special chars (like the ones near the enter key).
US layout instead has a different enter key which i think is less practical.
(for these info I read keyboard layout on wikipedia)
Is there a chanche to change some keys later?
I already saw a similar forum somewhere, i will find it and read it all before posting new questions here.
Thanks again! -
mmm well i don't know if you can change keys but.. you can change the language of your windows. So you can use the keys that you are used to have.
The only problem would be that the layouts will be different.
For example, I'm from M?xico and I can use the ? and the keyboard configuration that I'm used to. (I don't really need to see the keyboard while I'm typing)
(well that ? is a sign)

What keyboard would you like I can order one for you install it and setup XP for you in whatever language you want and ship it to you anywhere.

I was actually going to buy another keyboard in DK and then replace the one my notebook shipped with. But due to the fact that Im a bit lazy when considering such things, and that it dosent bother me, I havent come around to it yet. Also from some dealers u actually have the opportunity to change the keyboard to another lanuage before shipping, that was also the case from the dealer I bought mine from. Although they didnt have the keyboard for my language for this notebook at the store...

To add; Actually it is possible to switch keys around on the keyboard on an LG S1. Ive done it, and it isnt very tricky. Also you can easily remove your keyboard from the notebook, all that it takes is unscrewing 4-7 screws and then unplug the cable attached to your keyborad.

I'm very very very sorry, I didn't noticed your posts!
to Bjuste: thanks, it's a good idea and could be useful.
to lifesgood: Thanks, that will be a good idea, but what can you tell me about the warranty? Shipments? money? (import taxes?)... I don't want to spend a lot of money, altough it's a good notebook
