I managed to track down one of the few remaining T1-5316A9s out there, and yes, it does have the unpublished specs (L2400/WXGA+) on both the box and in the machine itself.

I also had my local shop demo me a new 7001A9, which unsurprisingly had the inferior screen and higher voltage cpu as its specs read.

Anyway, I'm done marvelling at its beauty and am ready to find the perfect case to fit it.

So far, the best fits i've found in a messenger style bag is the Timbuk2 Laptop Zip/Laptop Messenger and the Brooklyn Industries Bullfrog Bag. A R.E.Load Mini Messenger is also a possibility.

What are other T1 owners using for a case?

i actually had a look at the wxga+ and decided it was too small (icons, etc). So i bought the one with the 1.83 processor.

I use a notebook sleeve with it :)
