I'm using Omega 3.8.291, and when I try to set the clock manually low in ATi tools, it gives me some ridiculous number for the core, and when I tone it down to around 90 mhz and click on "Set Clock" it takes me right back up to the original 1300 or so.

I tried to to that, but this went crazy. I had to reboot.

Are you using ATi Tray Tools or ATi Tool. They are two different applications and ATi Tray Tools does not work with laptop chipsets. You will need ATi Tool Beta 14 or Beta 15.

Yuuuup... ATi Tool...

Same here, I'm using ATI Tool 0.25 Beta 14

Hmm..thats weird. Mine is working fine. It just shows core and memory (418/463) and lets me adjust it fine.
GPU clock rate.
