    It's obvious what the res is for the laptop screen, but what is the max res for using an external monitor. I sure hope it is 4K at least. I know what the intel site says, but I still want to know if it is the same when used in this laptop.

    Check the I/O? Thats usually the limiting factor

    Your ports, I believe you have a HDMI, which anything that is released these days generally has HDMI 2.0 which would be capable of 4k60

    I finally got ahold of LG support. They confirmed it will do 4K @ 60hz.
