I've been looking around for ultraportable laptops lately and currently i'm thinking about getting the LG LW20...but I've heard that it's been out for awhile now so i was just wondering if it's still worth it to purchase one now? If not LG LW20 I'll probably go for ASUS W5F. Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

You might want to consider the LW25 instead of the LW20. It's the dual-core version, with pretty much the same specs otherwise. I believe the case has been 'sexified' in the same way that the other LG dual core models have been, available in blue, red or silver, depending on what is offered in your country. See reviews on this website on the T1 and S1 for pics etc.

From the places that I've looked at the prices of the LW20 and LW25 are the same (though I think LG Canada is offering a $300 CAD rebate on the LW20). The LW25 has a 3-year warranty vs LW20's 1-year. Just something to consider in case you didn't know about the LW25.

LG Canada's current rebates, only mentions stuff for S1, P1, and T1 notebooks (and even then it may not apply to all models - some of the P1's get $200 cash rebate, others get a 1gb memory key)

My bad, sorry. I saw a clearance on the LW20 and thought it was an LG rebate. In any case, the clearance is here:

The LW20-1BDU1 is currently $1400, used to be $1800.

samanfa, I hope this helps. I still think that the LW25 is worth looking into.
