Thinking of buying a used LG E300 for $450 CDN in great condition (as per the seller)
One of the reviews on PC World said that the LCD brightness is great however the Contrast is not that good.

Is the screen res crisp and bright?
What is cd/m^2 brightness ?

How is upgrading it from Vista to Win7 ?

I don't know if I should hold off for an i3 processor.

Can you tell me your opinion of this laptop?

great laptop. I had one and the screen was very crisp and bright with good contrast. I enjoyed watching movies on it! Could you possibly link the sellers post for me?

 

I would not recommend this laptop. Very noisy and gets very hot. Though I've had it for almost 2 years now but haven't absolutely loved it. Speakers are terrible thus I've had to get external speakers. There are plenty better laptops around the 450+ price range.
