    I'm thinking of buying one secondhand.
    I have an LG LW60 express that's been great, but I want to update.
    I'm looking at this model as I'm not ready to take on Vista yet


    Does anyone have one, or comments on it?

    I have heard there maybe issues with the fan

    Is there any specific reason that you want to buy an LG? If not, consider a new notebook because there are places that still sell with Windows XP.

    Also, if you buy second hand, note the battery's condition as Li-Ion batteries degrade over time until they DIEE..

    wow. 17" screen seems nice though..

    I love the LG I have now, I use it for financial bookwork so the extra numerical keypad is a bonus (just like a real keyboard). I haven't seen this feature on other brands :nah:

    Although the powersupply died early on and the battery is in the death throws now. :rolleyes:
