    Hi!

I'm new in this forum but i like it too much, there are many interesting things.

Well, I have a LG P1 Laptop (T2400 @ 1.8Ghz, ATI X1400, 4Gb RAM) some days ago I added RAM (it has 2x2Gb now); Today I have searched to change micro and grafics because it's still slow in some games and programs (cod4, crysis..)and i can't buy a new Laptop or pc.

About the micro, I Found on Ebay:
    T2700 @ 2.33Ghz
    T2600 @ 2.16Ghz
    T2500 @ 2Ghz

About the grafics, I found an ATI X1600 on Ebay.

My question is....Can I change micro and grafics? I Know how to open the laptop and where is cpu and gpu core. (I have the S1&P1 service manual....i'm uploading to share it). It's a dream?

Here's some photos (click to make it bigger):

You should be able to upgrade the CPU to a Core 2 Duo. Also, the graphics card is impossible to upgrade unless it uses an MXM slot; an extremely rare feature. Almost all GPU chips are soldered onto the MB using high-precision solders, so upgrading is out of the question.

    What Bog said.

You could try solder in that x1600 but you will definitely end up with a busted machine... unless you have like alooot of experience(and the proper yadda equipment) with that.

Regarding the cpu and the slow games, the cpu might help, but gaming performance is mostly to do with the GPU which i would personally recommend you not attempt to upgrade the super, SUPER impossible way(not that there is another way) unless your laptop has an MXM slot which as Bog said is quite uncommon...

I am certain that which Core 2 Duo you can upgrade to is dependent on the chipset. That said, the T5xxx and T7xxx series should work.

aside from not being able to upgrade the video card, have an x1600 and you might as well wait till you can buy a new laptop/pc...crysis does not run well on it. CoD4 is better but still not worth it in my opinion.

Are you sure that i can upgrade to T7XXX ? It's a 478 (Socket M), but i don't know how socket i have now. (My micro seems to be a 479 socket but i don'd know if there's compatible with 478 (socket M).

    There's a CPU-Z screen:
