    Ok... Its been fixed.
    Turns out its a RAM corruption problem.
    And damn, i have no warranty on my RAM.

    Have you tested the memory?, Sounds like you may have a bad stick, download memtest86 and test each stick seperately, and each stick in each slot, it could be a bad dimm slot as well.

    use memtest86....you should run it overnight to see if it gets any errors.

    no new notebook has a problem accepting 2 gb ram.
