    LG Remote / Direct Media

    Hi,
    I have recently purchased an LG s1-p333a and can't get the remote control to function correctly. THe only buttons that work for me are the on/off button, the language button, dvd menu and the direct media button. Volume, play, mute etc... will not work.

    I have already sent the remote back to LG, but they said it worked fine on the same laptop at their office. Have made contact several other times, but not even they seem to know whats happening. :mad:

    I cannot find any drivers on the net, nor any information about direct media and the use of the remote control.

    Could there be a conflict with another program? Any other ideas?


    ps. i am trying to use the remote with windows media player, power dvd and winamp, same problem with each.
    Any help is much appreciated.
