    Hello,

I saw this version in another thread on Notebook Review.

Could someone upload this version for me? (Unfortunately the version is not available on German servers...)

    Regards,

Sapphire, here's a work in progress ISO for you for EMRDSF14. It's a self booting image so all you have to do is burn it and boot from it. This should flash your bios in DOS using Phlash16. Remember this is a work in progress so for safety sake I've set some settings in Phlash16 to only update if the bios is the same type, and then only if it's newer. I'm sure I'll end up tweaking things no doubt, but for now it should work just fine. If not let me know and I'll relax the safety settings I've got set.

Remember that the cd is going to show up as "blank" in Windows once you've burned it, as it's a DOS image and thus loads when you boot off the CD.

So first, download the ISO here - http://www.rapidshare.com/files/411227326/KM_LG_BIOS_CD_S510_EMRDSF14_beta001.zip

Then unzip, put a blank cd or a re-writeable cd in the drive, and double click on the GO.BAT file. Once burned, change your bios settings to boot from the cd. Let me know how you go

Invalid device request writing device AUX

    Could you help me? Thanx!!!

This was an experimental file I shared. I'd recommend downloading the full .ISO here:
    http://rapidshare.com/files/410240033/LG_BIOS090127.rar

You will need to burn the .ISO as it will only run if you boot from it.

Do you have an update of your file?

What are the advantages of the new version?

LG_BIOS090127 is the latest version of the LG BIOS CD I've been able to get my hands on. As for the custom bioses I tried making, they worked for some, and not for others. I'd suggest downloading the entire CD, burning it, booting from it and flashing that way. I've flashed my own laptop with it, and I know hundreds of others have done so with success as well.

The custom bios setups I was sharing were simply tests and trying to help others who didn't' want to download a 50mb ISO file. But in the end, it's going to be safer do download the CDs, and flash that way.

Any news on a flasher for EMRDSF14 bios?
I already have the latest one from the cd, but would like to have the most recent.
