    Hi,

I recently purchased the T1 notebook, with 512mb RAM.
No problems so far except a bit low WinXP performance. I still can't figure what is the best way to improve it, memory upgrade or fast external HD (or both :) )
Can someone tell me where the memory slot is located in order to expand my RAM to 1G.
Did someone try expanding memory or adding fast external HD? Did it help ?

    Thanks,
    Michael

    for uograde:
in must of lg notebook they use both slot(512=2*256),one slot is under the notebook & easey access but for 2ht one you must remove keybord for access to the slot( 2th ram).it's better to use LG service center for your Upgrade issues.
    but for performance ?
did you test it with any program or compare with any models (i mean last models) or any other brands.

    thanks

    I wouldn't say that its a fake.
In Israel all T1 comes with 512mb RAM, but with L2400 1.66 CPU.
I'll try to upgrade it and write down my conclusions.
It just cries out for more RAM :)

    Regarding the memory issue...
The memory expansion slot is right under the keyboard.
The thing is that there is only ONE slot! The second memory module screwed directly to the motherboard!!!
