I have 2GB of RAM, an x1350 ATI graphics card...sufficient hdd etcetcetc... Im trying to run singleplayer games several years old and my laptop is crapping out. High res, low res---doesnt matter. Get a few charachters on screen and it goes so slow I move my mouse a millimeter a minute. I have the new drivers supposedly from LG's website. Still dont understand why its done through manufacturers and not ATI itself as was always the case before. Im also running VISTA...which is the single biggest mistake ive made in my life upto this point. Anyone have a solution so I can go back to gaming?

What games are you trying to run on it? It should run most DX9 titles on low settings at least:\

Black and White...in the latest scenario.
Have tried various others, even on lower resolutions.
I know its not a powerhouse chipset....but with dual core, and 2gigs of RAM...I expect more power. I have the latest LG driver...would you recommend trying a mobility modder or anything?

Yes try one of the the 8.X modded catylist drivers. I have a geforce so i don't know exactly how you install them from the ATI side of things but i'm sure there should be enough info on google :)
