    how's lg notebook's screen's brightness compared to other companies like sony toshiba fujitsu dell hp etc?

    It really depends on the model. If you are worried about this, stay away from the LW40. It's display is pretty dim at max brightness. The rest of the LG laptops have displays that are just as bright as any of the other brands.
