Great news, just as I'm saving my pennies for a P300. Hope this either drops the price of it or a hardware refresh.

 

Din see any "new" models there.. the ones I've checked on are nearly 6 months old or older. Geez... I hope they give us something that can be compared to the old S1 (the looks, the power, etc...)

 

ya there won't be anything new on that site for a month.

 

Well I tried to order a R500 with the WSXGA screen from NCIX today and they said it was no longer available! No special order either. To top it off they had no word on new models.
I think LG must be pretty casual about things in the market place. I have waited four years using my LM50a so a few more months won't be a burden...
assuming LG gets it together.

Well the "new" has been removed from the models that had it a week or so ago.

 

There are NO p300's on Futureshop.. New or Old

Just tried to download LG's Brochure for New p300's and I need/Get prompted for installing Adobe 6.0.2.

Of course I got a new computer Last Month and downloaded the latest Adobe.. 8.0!

WTF???!!
This/these companies are a JOKE.

Now what.. I have to Uninstall the latest adobe to get 6 again?

Why no Brochures in New Adobe? Why prompt for 6.0.2 (which requires an install, second prompt! for 6.0.1 I don't have) when we're on 8.0.1/2?

There are NO LG's for sale or even traces thereof on the website.. and the person I spoke to at FutureSLOP Never even heard of them.

Looks great though. I really would like to see and probably own one. Has great specs, light weight, screen brightness etc.
BUT You can't buy one of these.. Try as you may.
This company does NOT want to do Business, and has apparently picked a perfect retailer for that [non]purpose.

Come on Bimbos-- lets get at least one American retailer or online retailer to carry it so the 'tiny' USA market can at least see one.

The LG p300 has been on clearance for sometime now. When i went to my local store, the one on display was the like the last one.

LG S510. BEAST laptop and VERY affordable. Centrino 2, 9600gt ddr3, 2-4gb ram DDR3, 200gb hd. Read somewhere it was gonna be around 1400-1500 USD, which is nothing for what we're getting. Oh, it also looks very sleek and sexy.

Only problem is nobody knows when its being released :|

For me, its between the S510 or the Zepto Nox/Mythos. Cant decide!!!

Ive got a question for LG users. How are their notebook products? I know theyre a big company but theye new to the notebook market, so I dont really trust the products...

 

They're not that new to the notebook market. It's just that they don't seem to market them very much. I've had my S1 for two or so years now, and I cannot find fault with it. I am especially relieved when just about every person I know with an Apple had to get theirs replaced about once a year.

 

That's good to hear. The only reason I would take the Zepto over the S510 is it looks a bit better and the name.

I need to make my decision, like today :| lol
