I have always wanted the specs to be SXGA+ and dedicate graphics
any input
thanks -
Wow....that's a real shame that LG decided to discontinue the good ones!
Guess I was lucky to get my LS50 when I did....apparently it was the last of that model in stock in Aus.
Maybe the LM50 is now a possibility? Those specs sound pretty close to wha the LM50 had in it and with the new models around the LM50 should be a fair bit cheaper.

now i might consider lm40. the Lm40 is just on budget of $2100 max CAD.
Do anyone no if the lm40 is going to stop production?
Also anyone no if the lm40 is magnesim alloy or plastic?
-
The LM40 will be available for at least the 1st and 2nd quarter of this year. The LM40 is magnesium alloy on the top and carbon fibre on the bottom. It is the unit that I use personally.

thanks for the input everyone
LG_Man I heard that the BIOS of the LM40 is built onto the HD therefore you can't upgrade the HD. Is that true?
How is the unit in terms of performance and battery life (On normal use can u get like 5hrs)
Finally do you know any good place to buy the unit?
*sorry for all the question[:I] -
