My laptop is S1 -lg and i have a video card ATI X1600 and from the Shop where I bought it and also from the Lg website is writing that my S1 PD GGG is having 256 Mb and also + 256 MB RAM Hyper Memory...but somebody knows how I can check that my video card really is having 256 MB RAM and not 128 Mb...I saw in control panel from ATI there is showing the total RAM 512 video ram but ...this is making me thinking...if somebody can tell me...and also how is to your S1 with video card?

You could try downloading Everest, and see what it comes up with. It may just report the full 512 MB. Alternatively, you could see how much RAM you actually have got in the notebook, by looking at the specifications sheet, and then looking at how much of this is available to Windows. This difference should then be subtrated from the total RAM available to the graphics card, and you will be left with the dedicated memory on the graphics card. I have explained below, if that was a little confusing:
1024 MB Physical System RAM
768 MB Available System RAM (To Windows)
512 MB Available to Graphics Card
Therefore, 256 MB is hypermemory. So, 512 - 256 = 256. So, dedicated in this case is 256 MB.
Hope this helps, and is understandable

This part tells you that the card has 256 MB local (dedicated) VRAM on the graphics card itself. The Non-Local refers to the hypermemory. That has a value of 256 MB. So, you have a 256 MB dedicated Mobility X1600, with an extra 256 MB from the system memory. If there is anything you want to ask, then don't hesitate to post again.
