    Hi there,

So I got a spiffy new LG P300 from Futureshop and love it. It's super light. Looks good (in my opinion). Has basically zero bloatware. It runs games like Unreal Tournament 3 just fine. And even the external drive is really nicely designed.

However like a lot of other Manufacturers, the laptop is covered in stickers. I don't mind so much the Intel, Vista, & Nvidia logos......but does anyone have any recommendations on the best way to remove the big, semi-reflective "features" sticker on the right and how to remove the residual gunk without hurting the chassis face?

Xirurg - That's a valid argument for leaving it on if that is true. But, for example, I don't see my girlfriend's Macbook Pro getting damaged / discolored due to a lack of stickers.

    it depends on...

1.your hands "type".my hands constantly "oil" the laptop...
2.how good is the laptop material.
3.how hard do you use it.

    Here's how I remove stickers/residue.

    1. Peel off sticker(s)
    2. Clean residue with paint thinner
    3. Clean up paint thinner (if there is any left over).
Lighter fluid also works if you don't have any paint thinner. And no, although paint thinner and lighter fluid are strong chemicals, they won't damage your computer - as long as your don't pour it on the hard drive, just kiddin.
