    Hello!

I have a LG P1 express I am thinking of uppgrading my wireless network card.
Is is an intel 3945ABG wireless card (mini pci express) and the problem is that the card runs very, very hot. (at least I think it is the source of the heat). The bottom of the laptop is hot to touch where the card is located.

I noticed that the 802.11n card require 3 antennas and the LG P1 has two internal antennas connected to the original card.

Does anyone know if it is possible to run the "n" card with just two antennas or if I can add a third antenna in a simple way.

Can anyone recommend a good wireless card?

    Thanks

    /Max72

hey pal i know that people in this forum don't seem to be active...the truth is that this card we have(i have the same laptop as you) can reach +80 celsius degrees , i got that info from intel's official site... so i did a little research and found some mini pci cards for any notebook that you can buy... Go here http://linkshop.gr/eshop/view_prod....8a48e&secref=eeb01ccd39634f7d6887589bbfab4ea6 you can see some models available at this e-shop...unfortunatly this e-shop is greek and the page is in greek and that is because i'am from greece...so if u need some more info about sth just ask...oh and for the n cards i dont think that you can connect one in a simple way...
