    Hi Guys,
For the last couple weeks I have noticed that my P300 had been getting hotter than usual, especially around the power cord. Tonight the plug got so hot that the plug began to melt. Since then I have not been able to charge my laptop. I have another ac adapter aside from the damaged one and this does not work either. The laptop did continue to run on battery. The first couple times I tried to plug the laptop back in the battery light would flicker briefly. Now, I'm getting nothing. Any idea what caused my laptop to overheat so much?

    Thanks,
    Alyssa
