Since no one has tried it yet it's impossible to confirm that it will work without a hitch. All I can say is that the predecessors of the two processors (2620M & 2430M) are listed with the same socket over at ark.intel.com.

Looks like PCHome is launching an english language site for selling equipment globally. Worth keeping an eye on.

Dont think this was mentioned, by Dynamism is now selling the P330. I bought my Viliv N5 from there, very good support. Theyre located in Chicago

    Dynamism - LG Xnote P330

Expensive as hell though. But at least its more reliable than most ebay sellers. Looks like this is the top of line version. 555M, 64gb mSSD, 720GB HDD, i7 2640M

That's expensive even for the UE70K. Wouldn't it be better to import it for most people?

Yeah, just an interesting choice for anyone thats a bit scared too. Either way youre going to be paying a pretty penny, and some people may feel safer going through an official importing company.

Wasnt saying anyone had to use it, just throwing in more buying options

As far as I know Natadiem was the only one that managed to score such a good deal. I would believe, however, that a company that's experienced in this field wouldn't be far off. That's why $2300 seems a bit 'wrong' to me. Not saying you were wrong to inform people about this shop though. I'm sure some will be happy to pay a premium for safety. :)

I think its pretty obvious the shop imported it themselves.. the price is way too high though even for the ue70k! theres no sense in spending that much if you have the optin to import yourselve..

Btw on the official german support forum ive asked if there are plans to release it in germany or even europe and theyve answered "we got no plans for releasing it atm!" so its kind of official they wont release it anymore since ivy bridge is around the corner it wouldnt make sense either

Hi Ozoneku69, I have never done any transaction with Good Digital Shop, so I can't answer your 1st and 2nd questions.

The P330 is not available in Indonesia (and I don't think it will be available ever). You have to buy it online (with the risk of paying high customs and tax) or buy it yourself in Korea, or, like me, ask for a friend, which is in vacation in Korea, to buy from Korea.

Hi! Which stores in Korea have you bought your laptops in and for what prices? I guess I could order online but I would rather go to a physical store. Any suggestions or guides would be much appreciated :) Have any of you seen all the different models coming out lately like the ue4dk with the 2350 cpu and also ue4wk in silver? Any thoughts about these models? :)

I think they are just different colors! I have also seen a white one

But they are no dramatic change to the base p330 except for color/ram/cpu/hdd

When I first talked to my friend about the laptop I was always under the impression that it was black on black. lol I really didnt pay too much attention to the colour I was too busy looking at the specs :)

But once I received it, the blue was a very pleasant surprise!

There are also other colors but darkblue was first :) arent you happy with darkblue?

I mean white looks cool, but you would see dirt and such immediately thats why it would turn me crazy personally.. but im not sure if I like black more then dark blue xD

Are you guys sure it's available in white? Gamba66 posted pictures of the P330-UE4WK and claimed it was white, but too me it looks like just another model in silver, which would bring the count to three silver models. Have a closer look at the P330-UE4WK.

No problem. ;) We're all bound to make mistakes sometimes.

To be honest I kind of have a thing for limitied edition/rare stuff sometimes. And I actually did prefer the silver PSP slim over the black one (something about the finish). For my desktop I went with the black Ikonik Ra X10 as I usually prefer black aluminium over silver aluminium. Despite the silver P330 being less common, I think the dark blue has more going for it. Especially in low light conditions. What really bugs me about the silver design is that they went with the same black frame around the screen and the same keyboard. I also think the lid is the only thing that looks really good on the silver model, perhaps not better looking than in dark blue, but it's still vey good looking. The rest of the body, not so much.

Personally I wouldn't have gone along with what everyone else thought. Taste is something unique to you and shouldn't be influenced by other's opinions. If you like the silver model, then heck yeah, go for it! :)

So you like the silver more?

My preferred color is actually black, but the p330s dark blue looks very nice I think, especially like you said in low light conditions.. The aluminum material has a very nice touch to it and the quality seems extremely good and Ive had a bunch of other notebooks to compare it too (dv6, m14x, m11x, 3820tg etc..) This one is the absolute best in terms of build quality.. and price xD

No, I like the dark blue on the P330 more. And my preferred color is black as well. ;)

The P330-UE4WK is pretty much a UE40K in silver albeit without a preinstalled SSD. The other two silver models should be the KE4WK and KE1WK, but those are 520M variants (!).

so 2 mil won is about $1770 in USD?
I suddently dont feel too bad when looking at a sony Z class.

there is this guy I talked to willing to give up his new Z2 for $1800.
    i7, 256ssd, 4g memory(short in here) 1080p.

the perfomance is most likely not as good as P330, but should at least handle most of the games all right which i think is OK to me(hopefully). but Z fits most of my other need, even more lighter, backlit KB and most importantly high resolution.

went to the sony store and looked at the screen, the color is good. better than what I have now ;) too bad cant look at a real P330 to compare first.

for you guys have the P330, how is the screen if you could compare with a sony z2? not resolution wise.

Is the Z class with the power media dock? I do remember seeing it in stores a while ago but they didn't have the machine on so I couldn't really see how good the screen was. The laptop was very very light and sleek looking, so if you're always on the road it could be a viable option. I eventually decided it's not for me cause I didnt want the hassle of having to bring the power media dock around.

I did a quick check on google, the Z2 does require the media dock if you want the ATI 6650M graphics. Looks like the dock has its own power brick too. Seems like a lot of stuff to haul around if you want to game on the road. Laptop, dock and two power bricks...

The price is include the power media dock.
the dock is kind incovinance. However, I rarly need to bring a laptop on the road, and I don't play games that much nowadays, but I want a decent graphic when I do. So it actually works out for me.

Only if Lg can make p330available here ...

    Hi Essin,

I had mine imported to the US, I bought a UE40K for $1500 off of EBAY. Ive been to Seoul before I would assume you could get one at the Techno Mart, you would have to haggle to get a good price though.

OT: Last time i checked the worlds fastet internet connection still was in Scandinavia.. 120 GIGABIT AT DHW11 Dreamhack

Also we had the first 4G lte network in the world: 4G - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"On 14 December 2009, the first commercial LTE deployment was in the Scandinavian capitals Stockholm and Oslo"

But my main point is that in general the internet connection in Sweden feels much faster and more stable than all the internet connections i have tried here in Seoul. For example the university connection here at Korea University is kind of bad ;)

On topic: If any of you did buy your laptop in a real store what did you pay for it? And if you bought it online here and for what price? (Korean stores)

So, by selling these in Korea only, how many has LG sold? I don't understand going through the expense of making the computer and then failing to make it available to the public.

Some people don't feel too comfy with ordering something as expensive as a laptop from a foreign country. Although it's still possible for people that don't live in South Korea to get one, it does seem a bit unnecessary to make it exclusive to one country. The P330 appears to have turned enough heads for it to be an international model.

LG had already developed a following with the brilliant design of the P310. If made available to a single US distributer or retailer like Amazon or Newegg, LG could have sold as many of these models as they could produce on their production lines.

I have to tell you, the laptop is alot better than I expected, it really feels like a premium notebook, the chassis feels very well build and is made out of some kind of metal.. The pictures dont justify how the laptop feels in reality ^^

Its unbelievable that they dont sell this internationally, my guess is that they will release the upcoming xnote with ivy/kepler internationally

Unless they drop the smaller members of the P-series as they shift their focus to ultrabooks. This is all speculation from my part, and hopefully it's not likely to happen.

I think the p330 is kind of an ultrabook, with kepler being oh so efficient, it will be used on alot of smaller formfactor notebooks, and the lg p330 fits right into that category (except for the removable battery)..

One thing I wouldnt like though is if the upcoming models will have a fixed battery..

But I think its very likely that an lg p350 with 640m or 650m will be released.. I dont think though its really worth the upgrade unless it maybe has the 650m but even then... Just use a damn IPS screen though
