    Hello,

I got an LG notebook computer yesterday, and as soon as I got it home I switched it on, using battery power and it worked fine.

Understandably the battery ran out pretty quickly so I hooked it up to mains power so the battery could charge.

Today I have had it hooked up to mains power and the battery icon says it is at 75% and that it's charging, BUT when I disconnect the mains power, the computer shuts down.

As soon as I reconnect the mains power, the battery shows that it's charging but I need to power the computer up again.

Is this normal? It's been charging at 75% for about 4 hours today.

    ????

    KAT

If it's a new laptop then I suggest charging it for at least 7 hours before using it. If it didn’t work then most likely your battery is dead and need to be replaced …

try removing your battery and then putting it back in. sometimes you just need to reset the connections.....
