    Hi,

I recently installed a new LS-50a VEPE machine, with SoundMAX drivers version 5.12.1.3890 d/l from LG web site.

My problem is that for some reason I can't output digital sound, only analog. I have a desktop computer with Sound Blaster Live 5.1, and using the same cable, to the same receiver - I can output digital sound.
When I plug it to my LG, I hear nothing. I checked the "Digital Output" option, and it seems like it's working, because I get no internal speakers output when I do, but the receiver gets no signal.

I tried to reinstall the driver, but it didn't help.

Do any of you got the digital output to work ?
Do I need a special cable ? (I think mine is OK, it's 1/8 inch to RCA)
    Is it a driver problem ? maybe there's a tweak ?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

    Elan.
