This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    i want to upgrade my LG laptop to vista from XP, but will the on screen display and battery mixer software works with window vista. if it doesnot than that really sux

    You mean you want to use Vista RC2? Since Vista is not out yet, it will be released sometime in 2007, hopefully the first quarter.

    But if you do mean Vista RC2, you may want to dig up some info around the forums and see how others have found Vista on their laptops.

    Just incase Vista RC2 doesn't work well, i suggest make a back up of your hard drive so that you can revert back to where you were before you went to vista.

    I personaly am looking forward to test out vista but I dare not even to put it on my desktop because of the amount of work involved with removing it if i don't like it or have to deal with driver issues.
