I bought a 5.1 speaker system but i don't know where do I have to plug the orange and black jacks.
Is this a 4 channel sound card? or 2 channel sound car?
Thanks.

You do not mention what type of speakers you have (Internal 5.1 decoder?).
Something similar to Logitech's Z5500 5.1 Speaker system with Hardware DTS decoder.
As per LG S1 manual, you need a speaker system with SPDIF input to get 5.1
Excerpt from the Manual:
Using S/PDI output connector you can enjoy the digital sound by connecting S/PDIF supporting amplifiers to the S/PDIF output connector.
S/PDIF is a customer purchased device.
To enjoy the digital 5.1 channel sound.
(A/V receiver, components of digital amplifier)
Digital output of this model is supported by S/PDIF terminal.
The following environment is required to use digital 5.1 channel.
1. A DVD title recorded by digital 5.1 channel sound.
2. DVD program that supports digital 5.1 channel (ex: 'PowerDVD XP 4.0' or newer)
3. A/V receiver or digital amplifier to support the digital 5.1 channel sound.
4. S/PDIF terminal

I dont know if this will help.
my S1 came with a 5.1 home theater sound system (Model # Z-5 First Class) that have 3 heads to connect them to the laptop and it was confusing for me to figure out which goes in which since they didn't made it easy by having all the heads have the same color (the sound system)!
After a good search I found out that S1 includes software called: Realtek HD Audio Manager that controls the outputs (holes) of the laptop and it helped me a lot -
Thanks to both
I didn't know that you can configure them, btw the sound is great xD
mmmmmhh i did realize something now, the blue plug isn't working........ i mean the speakers are not working if i plug them in the blue plug. Automatically blue is for rear speakers but they don't sound, and if i change the order blue for front speakers and green for rear speakers, then the front speakers doesn't work.
Any idea?
Oh wait, they worked now xD i did just reboot the computer, now it's fine.
thanks!!!! -
Happy to know you solved the problem
And yes, the sound is spectacular -
If you're having any problems with the proper 5.1 speakers playing the sound, try uninstalling the SRS sound program.. That program specialises in converting 5.1 signals to work on 2 speakers using virtual surround sound.. The problem is that this doesn't deactivate when you actually use 5 speakers, and thus the surround sound is all messed up.

Thank's!
I'll keep that in mind.
