LG S1 Express Dual. T2500 2.0Ghz Core duo.

Just scored 1.16 for 2M in Super-Pi .. (Note, i just played some games and didn't close any processes or browser windows before doing this test)

Battery program is throttling your cpu to 1ghz. Looks like this is a common problem.

After alot of stuffing around with different programs, i found that battery miser which comes on the CD was the only one that worked for me.

But this didnt fix it for mountainsnakes (check his other thread), maybe it has to do with settings or something. I changed alot of things in the search of a fix for this problem, i just gathered it was from the version of battery miser...

I run the latest Battery Miser. Never had any problem with it though. Just by pure instinct put it on Always On- Mode.. and never really thought about it.. Just now i checked for the first time there a pretty many options to set if you open it up. Expanding the Power Scheme tab you can change settings while in AC mode and Battery mode. CPU HD, Monitor etc.. all can be set to your likings =)

That might do the trick.. You probably saw it already but unless you or someone else didn't notice those settings maybe that could be the trouble. Hope it helps.

I'm having this problem after hibernation. After normal reboot, cpu speed is fine. But once hibernate and resume the cpu speed is limited to 1ghz. Can you please try yours with this scenario? I just want to be sure if this is a common issue.
