I know that a couple of people here have gotten the T1 with the 1440x900 res and the t2400lv and the gig of ram, and I know that LG still doesn't list that particular revision verbatim on their webpage. I'm a prospective buyer in the US and am considering Canadasys/Milestone PC or NCIX to import, so I called the latter to ask if they knew anything about it, which they don't, and neither does LG Canada. Do any of you know how to assure the higher resolution, bulkier pc, since all of the retailers I can find list the other?
Any information you guys had on the warranty situation for non-Canada residents would be awesome, too. Thanks.

i think your best bet would be to call or pm danny at milestonepc. he will most likely be able to answer all your questions.

You probably already read my review, but I got my 1440x900 T1 from MilestonePC.
One way you may be able to tell: the outside of my box has T1-5631A9 on the side. I assume (note "assume") that if the one NCIX is selling has the same model # that it will have the higher res, gig ram, etc. So if you can get NCIX to check the actual box that may tell you. -
all the new LG T1s will come with the higher res and 2 gb of ram.. if you did want to order from milestonepc, just ask danny to read the side of the box for you. it should say T1-5316A9 on a big sticker or another sticker that says CONFIG: T1-5316A9
cheers.. i love my T1, any ohter questions feel free to ask. i will answer them as soon as i can. i have a final in 3 and half hours so after that! i will be back... -
Thanks all-I appreciate your input. In lieu of a phone number for Milestone PC, I came across Titan-Networks.ca and a guy named Chris who was extremely helpful and checked on a particular T1 model they had in stock in Vancouver, which was the model I wanted. He also mentioned that in a couple of weeks, he expects a new T1 model with the t2400 processor for certain, but was unsure of its resolution. I decided that the 2300 was enough and the 1440x900 was too good to miss a chance on so I ordered it and who knows how long it'll take to be here in Tennessee, but I'm looking forward to it. Also, I'd like to recommend Titan-Networks for anyone considering the T1 because it was around 1700 US, and they have been, so far, excellent in the customer service dept.
Do any of you find the integrated graphics card to be laggy? I know its got 256mb memory, and I read that it can run Windows Vista beta, but does it measure up in the looks department? -
For everyday Windows XP use, its been fine for me. As you noted, it should work with Vista ... I ran the "Vista Upgrade Advisor" and it passed. I've also used it to play DVDs without any problems. So you should be fine unless you try to play recent 3D games or run 3D modeling software or something.

unless you need to play all of the newest and latest games and use intensive programs like cad.. the intergrated graphics is just fine. i use it to play counter strike and watch dvds on my lappy and i have no problems with it.
