how much do you think a lightly used r200 can go for (not the one with external screen) I am considering buying, but not sure how much I should pay

    LCD 12.1 in
CPU 2.2 ghz core 2 duo
    RAM 3G DDR2
ODD: DVD +-RW combo or something
Grapgic: Ati HD2400m vram 256 mb or something similar
sound: realtek 5.1 supported with srs
    LAN: agree gig-net 100m
    WiFi- Intel A/G/N
    Bluetooth: 2.1+ edr
    USB: 3 ports
    firewire: 1

just transcribing specs from a friend they may not all be accurate, but how much do you think is a fair price

Hard to put a price on it cause it was so overpriced in the first place. I think the retail was $2,300 or something like that. It was an early attempt at a netbook with its 12.1" screen. Asus UL30Vt will probably outperform it at $600 price tag and comes with Windows 7. I would also bet that the processor/gpu combo suffers from heat issues. Although your friend won't be happy with me, I would suggest that you don't pay more than a few 100 bucks (USD). Time has passed this unit by.

alright thanks alot, he is charging well above that. My friend would consider it if he got it to around 300, but the person is currently charging around 600

$300 would be the figureI had in mind. I would probably pay as much as $400. Beyond that, you might as well get something new.
