I've purchased an USB number pad for my LG laptop (LW20). It initially worked fine, but after using it for a while the OSD (on screen display) of NUM LOCK ON/OFF, CAPS LOCK ON/OFF AND SCROLL LOCK ON/OFF, located at the lower right hand corner; starts to appear on the entire screen instead of the corner.
Whenever this happen I can't work on my laptop because everytime I punch a number the OSD indicator takes up the entire screen.
Can anyone help me with this problem?
btw the same USB number pad works fine on another laptop

Have you change anything on your laptop recently?

    Windows Update?, new software?

Next step, uninstall the USB Number Pad Software Drivers and re-install it.

Check with the USB keypad manufacuter website for update drivers.

According to what you are describing, it appears you have a conflict or maybe a virus?

    Best of luck
