I'm pretty much waiting for the ASUS G1, which has the top of the line specs for a 15.4" notebook, but what I really don't like is its build quality is still not as good. I heard LG notebooks are strong in build + have nice screens, so i'm sorta interested.
The graphics on the ASUS is 7700go, but I won't mind stepping down to a X1600 from that and lose a DVI port...
Any suggestions? The S1 series look really awesome.

Apart from the video card and the flashy looks, the specs are pretty much teh same. The S1 has a WSXGA non glossy or WXGA glossy option, whereas the G1 comes with WSXGA glossy.
Im really not sure what to suggest here
Theyre both great systems. Asus systems generally dont have build quality problems as far as i know. The S1 is made of high grade plastic, and looks elegant (as compared to 'flashy' for the G1, with its lights).
Although, considering the ~600$ price difference, i guess the G1 would be a natural choice. If you absolutely dont want the flashy looks of the G1, then the S1 is a great alternative.

Well I just can say that S1 is very solid and sexy.
Waiting for the ASUS G1, would the LG S1 series be better?
