    Hi, I have a LM50a notebook. I want to replace its dvd/cdrw combo with a dvdrw drive. I consider buying this drive: http://www.panasonic.com/industrial/computer/storage/optical/models/UJ845B.htm which I like because it is a slot drive. Do you have any idea if it will fit my notebook. Thanks in advance.

    I got the same idea but Jeff from Onlineelectronics told me that it might work but the bezel won't line up...and it won't look good
    also check if your current drive is not a 9.6 mm b/c the slot one is 12.7mmm...I would email Jeff
