    the aero glass in the upcoming Vista? (I.e., does it have pixel shader 3.0 support?)

    Absolutely. It exceeds the requirements on processing, and meets the graphics standards. Hopefully you have a 1GB of ram or more...for anything, even if it isn't Vista.

    That is, if you pick the version with the GF7300 GPU. The one with GMA950 will be in trouble... ;)

    not every area has a 7300gpu(if there is ) , but by the way, i have not seen this model before.

    It will, but its not straight foward. When you install vista, Vista will automatically install a version of drivers for the Intel graphics adapter which are NOT aero capable. The trick is to use a different version of intel drivers that come with Vista. Do drive update, search for a driver on the system. under manufactures, choose, intel, then choose the Intel Lakeport Graphics Controller. It seems to work fine with vista and you get Aero. woohoo
