I own this Acer Timeline, with VGA Intel GMA 4500, OS Ubuntu 9.04

I've tried anything to reduce the screen brightness, from xbacklight, Fn key (the slider move, but brightness doesn't change), modify brightness file in /video/acpi/..., using brightness applet. Nothing has worked out.

    Please help me, how can I reduce the brightness.... i'm so desperate... :( :( :( :( :( :(
