    Hello,
this is laptop review forums bijection of :
    https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/528942-Alienware-15(2015)-and-audio-Jack-problem

Basically, first I want to ask has anyone here tried running linux off of Alienware 15? Also, I do understand that Ubuntu is more polished with compatibility, but OpenSUSE is my option for stability.

It is an audio jack issue computer does recognize headphones plugged in-out, but it changes volume in the KDE, but does NOT actually produce any sound in the headphones. Basically say, I am playing music at 100% with no headphones, when headphone is plugged in it goes down to 60%, and laptop is still making noise, and nothing is heard in the headphones.
