By the way, I just discovered a very interesting spin-off of PCLinuxOS called Full Monty Edition. It is basically PCLinuxOS (it even uses the same repos), but it comes preloaded in a very interesting way. Check it out here if interested:

Since it was just refreshed with the latest updates it may be the most efficient way to try PCLinuxOS. Otherwise, you will have quite a large number of updates after installing. I believe that a new ISO release of regular PCLinuxOS is planned for October, but I am not certain. All I know is that they are shooting for quarterly releases now. But of course, since PCLinuxOS is a rolling release distro, if you already have PCLOS installed all you need to do is update to get the latest and greatest.
