I have Vista on my HD. I made a free space partition for ubuntu within vista, rebooted, with the live cd. I installed Ubuntu. Now when I boot up, I see Vista in the bootloader. However, when I select it, that laptop just reboots. Won't get me into vista. I thought the boot load was suppose to work. As of now, I'm being told I need to put the vista dvd in and repair it. I am on the road, and will be unable to do this for a few days. Has anyone run into this problem, and know of another solution?

I didn't run into this problem dual booting my system. Perhaps the folks over at http://www.ubuntuforums.org could help you more.
Anyone have a successful Dual-Boot of UBuntu / Vista?
