Yeah, I use it once in a while. It seems to show some good info.

yeah, used it a while back but stopped using it since it really did nothing, unless you are testing power saving modes of course.

It offers some good optimizations, but it is almost worthless since these settings can't be applied permanently without starting a Terminal and going through PowerTop for every session.

Yeah, as highlandsun said, it's mainly there to give you good input (or output :laugh
. You can just take its suggestion and put them in rc.local, or whatever equivalent you have.
