Actually, he didn't mention if it was for windows or not, I would assume the latter since he posted it in the Linux forum. it's a FAIL on my part! :p

That's what I get for using the "recent discussions" panel :p

I got it somehow with all the other screensavers when running Arch. I think it came with compiz. Not sure because it was with both gnome and kde. but the BSOD screensaver had the 'bsod's of all OSs. Apple's purple screen, window's blue screen, etc

    Hey,

at Arch, the xscreensaver package gave me (among lots of others) a BSOD called screensaver. It seems to show random failure messages from many OS...

yeah, it was for a windows machine, but I thought you guys around here might have a better sense of humor about that than the windows crowd...lol

linux related.....I came back to my Linux Machine, and on the screen was a c:/windows prompt with some error messages....since I work on this machine I got a real 'start' at first....I had random screensavers set in linux....made me think of a BSOD screensaver I could sneak onto a couple of windows machines I know of...(not mine) LOL

I know a guy who wrote a bsod screen saver. It pulled actual system info too. It was always fun when he put it on someone's computer.
