I'm having wireless issues with Mint, won't boot up saying "wireless event too big" :)
and with MEPIS I can't get into X. Spec's in sig.

anyone have experience with this laptop? I'm ready to dual boot it. I'll keep trying.

Obviously your wireless network is too big. Make it smaller.

If you have Wireless Multimedia try disabling that on your AP/router

There are a few bug reports I just dug thru, that's about all I could find for now.

My wireless router is an Airport Extreme N. I think bonjour IS enabled....never thought that could be an issue? I'll check it. Thanks and for any other replies in advance.

EDIT: it was set to channel 11...isn't that a MAC thing? I changed it to 1 and turned off usb disk sharing via the routers usb port. Here I go again....

Cool, not sure if that's a bug in the firmware or in the kernel driver, but I first checked this regression which was incidentally the first result on my search and that brought me here in case you want to dig for more details. I just skimmed through them... ;)
