    did anybody do that? can you please give a feedback as of what is compatible and which version of Ubuntu are you using?

    ZaZ is right. Download the ISO, burn it on a CD, insert it in your CD drive, restart your computer and Ubuntu will load.

    You'll be able to try it before installing it to your HDD.
