    Well I recently installed conky.
I got the CPU and HDD temps up and running.

I googled to try to find a way to monitor my gpu temps, but results seems to only show nvidia card temp monitoring.

Does that mean there is no way to monitor ATI gpu temps? Via conky or otherwise?

    Thx

P.S. I also posted this question in the conky thread on the ubuntu forums...but chances of that getting answers are slim to none lol. 300 pages...good god.

you can try to to Wine 1.0 with RivaTuner.

But I think the Nvidia Linux Drivers can use NTUNE.

HWMonitor, does not need installation, just download and open the .exe .

Shows temperatures of all components which have a temperature sensor on them. less than 1MB

Found Linux temp monitor method! :)

    For Nvidia Drivers only:
    http://ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Ubuntu:Edgy/Hardware

    For ATI:
Same link... try to install ATI drivers and use ATITool

You have to realize that mobile Nvidia cards have the most success for GPU temp monitoring in the first place... regardless of which OS you use.

Currently there is no way of monitoring ATI GPU temperature under Linux. The good news is that the documentation for their temperature sensors has been released by ATI, and support for measuring and monitoring the temperatures of ATI GPUs under Linux, should be included in a future version of lm-sensors. BTW, ATITool only runs under Windows OSes.

    Good Luck.
