A friend has Arch 64bit on his Compaq which has the Atheros ar5007eg and none of the driver solutions he's tried have worked.

Has anybody had experience getting wifi drivers to work for this card for a 64bit Linux install?

    thanks.

Have you tried the madwifi patch for the eeepc notebook? The eeepc have the same wifi card. I recommend ditching the card in favor of intel wifi card. Unless you don't mind applying the patch after every kernal update.
