I am in need of some help with Back Track 3.

I have the Boot and BT files in my USB. I click on the .bat file to enable the files bootable however it seems that it is not booting for some random reason! THerefore it is not letting me install on my Asus 1000H!\

Any help would be very appreciated!

There is a discussion on a different forum that may shed some light on your situatio as well as assit you in setting up the os. Link

A quick synopsis: Back Track 3 may/may not support the wireless card of the 1000H at the current moment. I also believe the card does not support packet injection, from what I have read, also counter-intuitive to its use in this situation, according to a posts over at eeeusers.com. This is all null if you have changed to an atheros or intel card, as the H uses the rainlink.

I am a member there. I will check out that thread.

As for Wi-Fi. Ralink can get into monitor mode but doesnt allow injection. I have a dongle for that
