Should I install 32 bit or 64 bit linux on core2duo processor systems ?
What if the chipset is like that in thinkpad T60 ? I heard the chipset could only support upto 3GB of ram, something to do with 32 bits..

64-bit flash problem and all that, I would go with 32-bit too.

I thought you can use the 32-bit drivers on a 64-bit install. And if that's the case why not use the 64-bit on a C2D?

When I had Vista 64, I ran 32 bit IE so I didn't have those problems....can you do the same with 32 bit FF? But, I would go with 32 bit myself.

Definitely do 32 bit. There's no real advantage to 64 bit for the average home user, and you'll just run into a bunch of software incompatibilities.

For now i'd stick with 32bit and think about switching in a year or so, but for now just use 32bit.
