Anyone here play Battle for Wesnoth? We should get some multiplayer games going! (Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to play for a month as I have a thesis to write/start :() But just in time for summer!

I picked the Linux forums mostly because it was open source. But I guess it belongs in gaming :). I thought that most people that would play Wesnoth would be Linux users.

I think it's a good place for that post...we don't get enough linux gaming threads around here.

I've played it off and on, it reminds me of the old 8 and 16 bit console rpg's....but I never got far into it...maybe I'll check it again :D

It's a pretty good game, I finished some of the campaigns. I think it just got a pretty big art re-haul.

Somewhat. It's pretty good. I didn't complete the Fire Emblem games, but the variety of campaigns for Wesnoth means you have a huge variety of choices for gameplay.

I've just installed this in Slackware....the graphics look better....have they improved them, or is my memory bad? I haven't played it in about a year.
