    hey everyone :D

New to this section :p  :)

Anyway, im about to install Ubuntu on my laptop. The problem is, previosly i installed Ubuntu on my External HDD. And since i Installed it through windows using Wubi, Ubuntu's Listing is on my bootloader.

Now, how can i get rid of it? i no longer need or care about the ubuntu on the external, so i want that gone. Seeing as i dont want Two Ubuntu listings or like 10 listings inside Grub.

I figured i can go into EasyBCD and just Delete the Ubuntu listing. Am i correct?

I want to be careful because a while back i decided to remove linux and ended up corrupting my bootloader and hdd and it got way out of hand from my lack of knowledge and i lost everything :p

So please help! :D Thanks :)

Basically, yes, you just delete them, though I would make sure I have a Vista disc to repair my bootloader with if need be. But actually, the correct way do this would be to just uninstall wubi like you do any other application.

The wubi uninstaller isn't particularly reliable so manual uninstalls are fairly common. I've used EasyBCD to remove Ubuntu from the bootloader without any problems after the uninstaller failed. It may be an idea to try the uninstaller to remove the entry in add/remove programs in control panel.
